Gateway Legends, a visionary project by Celebrate Saint Louis, is passionately committed to nurturing community spirit and inclusivity through the dynamic world of esports in St. Louis. We are steadfast in our mission to widen access to esports - a stem catalyst - for a diverse communities, illuminate the significance of these endeavors for parents, and provide students with a platform to excel and feel like stars.

Our initiative has been a cornerstone in elevating the profile of esports in the St. Louis region. In our initial two years, we concentrated on scholastic esports, organizing elite competitions for national college squads and Missouri high school teams. Last year, Gateway Legends took great pride in hosting the MOSEF Missouri High School, Rural High School, and Middle School State Championships. We further expanded our horizon by introducing an open play category, welcoming participants from all walks of life to vie for a share of the $10,000 prize pool.

During the Memorial Day weekend at Ballpark Village, we successfully gathered over 650 contestants across the open and MOSEF State Championships. We are excited to host our 4th annual esports tournament. Our goal is to consistently fortify our partnerships and magnify the scope of esports in St. Louis, aspiring to establish Gateway Legends as the preeminent esports extravaganza in the Midwest.
